Honnêtement, c'est le livre le plus ennuyant que j'ai lu de ma vie ! Je ne vois pas comment on peut aimer cela, même en étant un grand fan de Jane Austen. Juvenilia regroupe les histoires, terminées ou pas qu'elle a écrites pendant son adolescence. Toutes les histoires se ressemblent et sont sans intérêt. Elles parlent toutes de mariage, comme toujours avec Jane Austen, mais sans qu'il y ait de substance. Bref, ça se voit qu'elle était encore jeune lorsqu'elle a écrit ces histoires ! En lisant ce livre, je ne pouvais pas m'empêcher de m'endormir au bout de quelques lignes. Et fait extrêmement rare, je ne l'ai pas terminé et je ne crois pas le terminer un jour non plus.
Honnestly, this is the boriest book I have ever read ! I don't see how we can like it, even if being a big Jane Austen fan. Juvenilia regroups the stories Jane Austen wrote while she was a teenager, finnished or unfinnished. All stories are the same and are not interesting at all. They all speak of wedding and engagement as always with Jane Austen, but without any substance. It sees that she was still very young when she wrote those stories ! While reading this book, I just couldn't help but fall asleep after a few lines. And, an extremely rare fact, I didn't finnish it and I don't think I will ever finnish it.
Jusqu'aux pages du livre était agaçantes. J'en ai une édition rare en papier glacé. Malheureusement, les pages n'étaient pas reliées traditionnellement, elles étaient simplement collées une par une, ce qui fait qu'elles se détachaient sans cesse du livre. De plus, comme c'était du papier glacé, il pesait extrêmement lourd!
Even the book pages were annoying. I bought a very rare edition with iced paper. Unfortunately, the pages weren't traditionally fixed to the book, they were just sticked one by one and they always fell from the book. What's more, since it was made of iced paper, it weighted a lot !Je ne donne même pas de note pour ce livre, parce que vraiment je n'y ai trouvé aucun point positif. Moi qui ai adoré «Orgueil et Préjugé» !
I decided that I wouldn't give any mark to this book, because I really did not find any positive side to it. Even though I loved "Pride and Prejudice"!
